I obey so then I am accepted.

     I obey to be accepted.

The blood of Christ.

     I am accepted so I obey

Fear based believe in God or go to hell

     Fear or insecurity

Heaven is not a place for people that fear hell but love Jesus Christ. 

     Grateful Joy

We obey God to get things from God

     We do it to get things

We obey God to be transformed into His image.

     We do it to get God

What you do when circumstances go wrong.

     Get angry with God or Yourself. 

     You did not measure up or God has    betrayed you.

When difficult circumstances fall on us.

     We struggle and fully embrace that God’s entire wrath were poured out on Jesus Christ on the cross.

     He has allowed this thing in our life for training. This is not about His anger towards us or our failure and He will walk through it with us as a loving Father. 

Prayer is about controlling your environment. 

     Give me give me and give me more

     Fix this do this make this happen

Prayer is about adoration 

     Love, esteem and respect of God

When someone criticizes you.

     Your world started to unravel and you get angry or self loathing because yourself worth is based on doing right and being a good person. 

     You’re Framework for acceptability in God’s eyes collapses.

When someone criticizes you. You still struggle with the criticism but it was criticism that brought you to the cross. You knew you had failed in an area and you needed a savior.   

Myself view is sitting on one of 2 Poles

     Doing everything right and have a swagger about you and not sympathetic to people failing. 

    Doing things wrong you feel defeated and God is frustrated and angry with you. 

Myself view

     I am bad enough that Jesus had to die for me. 

     Jesus loved me so much that he was glad to do it. 

    That gives me a balance between defeated and swagger.

Self worth

   Based on how hard you work

   How good you are

   You look with disdain that others do not work as hard as you.

Religious Persona

     A better person by believing and protected it at all cost. 

    Keep your mouth shut about the dark things that lurk in your home. 

    Not after God you are after some religiosity that you built.  

Self worth

     You have been saved by grace in faith and even that faith to believe was given to you by God. So that you will not be able to boast in anything. 

No religious persona

     We do not relish in being good men or women

    You are not perfect and Jesus loved you anyway
