Are your prayers knocking?
This week we are exploring the concept of knocking on God’s door. What does that mean and why should we do it?
Let’s first go to scriptures. Mathews 7:7-8.
7 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks find, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.
I always thought this text was about salvation being available to every person that asks, seeks and knocks. We can debate if God makes the first move or we do. But I believe we can agree that God does not turn his back on anyone that wants a relationship with Him.
Now I see this as 3 levels of Prayer first being asking for help in life. The second is seeking God’s will in your life understanding that God Likes to give you good gifts and blessings. The third is to knocking and what this week is all about.
How to knock? I think about it this way. It starts our Faith from that comes to Worship Him and them our Intent. Our Intent can open eyes, change hearts, bring healing of our mind heart, body and soul, grant us wisdom and defeat demons. That is a short list there are many more.
I very mush want this site to be a place of knocking and healing.
