Jesus Said…
“But when the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will bear witness about me” (John 15:26).
When you interact with the Holy Spirit Jesus gets glory and the spirit can relate to you because of the suffering that Jesus when through.
This week we are exploring the power of prayer.
Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
We have a loving God that wants us to interact with us.
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Do not be afraid to give your problems to Him nothing is to big for Him to solve.
This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.
Find God’s will for your life and you will be blessed.
I know this is a sensitive topic. The bible talks about it a lot and most ministries are always looking for donations. I do not want to be that way. I want to give love and healing to the world.
The Parable of the Bags of Gold
14 “Again, it will be like a man going on a journey, who called his servants and entrusted his wealth to them. 15 To one he gave five bags of gold, to another two bags, and to another one bag,[a] each according to his ability. Then he went on his journey. 16 The man who had received five bags of gold went at once and put his money to work and gained five bags more. 17 So also, the one with two bags of gold gained two more. 18 But the man who had received one bag went off, dug a hole in the ground and hid his master’s money.
19 “After a long time the master of those servants returned and settled accounts with them. 20 The man who had received five bags of gold brought the other five. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘you entrusted me with five bags of gold. See, I have gained five more.’
21 “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’
22 “The man with two bags of gold also came. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘you entrusted me with two bags of gold; see, I have gained two more.’
23 “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’
24 “Then the man who had received one bag of gold came. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘I knew that you are a hard man, harvesting where you have not sown and gathering where you have not scattered seed. 25 So I was afraid and went out and hid your gold in the ground. See, here is what belongs to you.’
26 “His master replied, ‘You wicked, lazy servant! So you knew that I harvest where I have not sown and gather where I have not scattered seed? 27 Well then, you should have put my money on deposit with the bankers, so that when I returned I would have received it back with interest.
28 “‘So take the bag of gold from him and give it to the one who has ten bags. 29 For whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them. 30 And throw that worthless servant outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’
We always need to be a good steward of our money.
God is above and below the sealing
Some people feel that god does not speak to them.
Some people do not feel worthy.
The limitations that we put on God hurt us and our prayer life.
8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;
I will counsel you with my eye upon you.
9 Be not like a horse or a mule, without understanding,
which must be curbed with bit and bridle,
or it will not stay near you.
Psalm 32:8-9
God has given us an understanding that animals do not have.
God wants to speak to us!!
21 And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” when you turn to the right or when you turn to the left.
Isaiah 30:21
You need to be brought to life in Jesus or this falls on deaf ears
The difficult part is recognizing it over your conscious thought.
If you think in terms of God and not earthly things then you are living in the spirit.
Think about what God is doing and how he is shaping His kingdom today.
This week I celebrated my anniversary in Eureka Springs Arkansas There are lots of New age shops in the city. I got a very bad vibe from one of them and wanted to share my experience.
I now realize that God is showing that I need to use these experiences as a opportunity to share the Gospel.
